Las Vegas’ Design & Construction Week! Every year, the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS) and the International Builders' Show (IBS) brings together designers and brands for a whirlwind intro to the latest and greatest new products for these most-important spaces. This year’s Design Week did not disappoint. I scoured the floor looking for the trends I knew my clients would love. From artisan tiles, wood sinks, 3D printed faucets and more. Check out some of my favorites form when Sin City literally went to the toilets Who wouldn't love this laundry room with a dog washing station. What gorgeous legs.........and the spindles aren’t bad either! A recurring theme throughout the show was beautifully sculptured geometric tiles. Walker Zanger and Ann Sacks where two of my favorites Digging these retro appliances, this year brings a new player with the apartment size frig. Using a selective laser 3D printing process, American Standard has produced some truly stunning kitchen faucets that makes it seem as if the water appears from nowhere. Lots of cool and interesting products for the bathroom - Pinocchio faucet / electrical outlets inside vanity / handrail wooden bath tray / cool faucet/ illuminated closet rod / bamboo sink The high light of the week was the rap up party The Bash, sponsored by NKBA and HGTV. There I got to mingle with all the guys from HGTV, property brothers, kitchen cousins, Scott McGillivray and Mike Holmes…for a few hours I felt just as important as them… Design week was a blast I walked away truly inspired for the year ahead. I hope these images have inspired you to create your well-designed life.
